As usual way like opening other programs you can open PDF file (Portable Document Format file) by the double click on the icon. If any PDF reader programs are installed in your computer it is automatically opened. If a PDF file is not opening by double clicking the icon probably you are not yet installed a PDF reader program. If the file is not opening with double click on the PDF file try to right click on the icon and select 'open with' tab. And check any PDF reader is installed and if installed select appropriate program and open the PDF file. If you can see any PDF reader programs it is necessary to install PDF reader in order to read that file.

Adobe reader is the most common PDF reader. Mostly your system detects a PDF file and tries to open in Adobe reader if you double click on the PDF file.

- Foxit Reader
- Latest version of Microsoft Word 2013 also allows you to open PDF files.
Download anyone of the above programs and install it. After completing the installation you can open PDF files.
