Limited data plans

In limited plan your data usage is limited to some data size and to some time period.

For example: limited plan 1 GB for 30 days, in this internet plan you can use data up to 1GB for a period  of 30 days for that you already paid while subscribing that plan. If the internet data usage exceeds 1 GB within 30 days of subscription your mobile internet provider either cut the internet connection or charge additional amount for that excess usage.

Unlimited data plans

In unlimited plan the only limit is the time period.

For example: If the unlimited plan is for 180 days, you can use internet for 180 days without any data size constrain. If you use internet after this period of 180 days without renewing the data plan the mobile service provider will charge for the excess usage from the date of expiry of your unlimited data plan you subscribed before. Monthly and yearly unlimited plans are available.

Broadband service providing companies usually attracts their customers with the unlimited data offers. The data provided will be unlimited but what about the speed of that data you going to receive?  In unlimited data plans the speed has a big importance. The speed must be high enough else it is waste to have an unlimited data plan just for name. Mostly the speed of unlimited data plans are slow and may be same as the speed of a dial up connection just like 512 Kbps. So before selecting data plan keep in mind about the speed, data size and the time period.

Even if you are using post paid or pre paid mobile service or even if you are using 2G, 3G or 4G service the limited and unlimited plans will be in the same format as explained above.
