How to create a new post in your blog using blogger?

If you created one blog and you are going to create a post for the first time then just visit the dashboard of your blogger account.

There you can see a link ‘start blogging’. Select that link.

Or if you have already posted one post (or many posts) before, then after entering the dashboard you can see a ‘new post’ tab on the left side of the page.

So select ‘start blogging’ link or ‘new post’ tab.  A new window will open like this.

There you can enter the title for the blog post. After entering your blog title you can type the body of the post just below. By default the place you going to type the body will be in the compose mode. Next to the ‘compose’ tab you can see the HTML tab. What all you typing there in the compose mode will be automatically changed into the HTML language, and you can see the HTML version by clicking the HTML tab. If you are an expert you can click HTML tab and can edit or type content in HTML format directly. Even if you don’t know the HTML you can type easily in the compose mode the blogger will automatically convert what all you typing there in the compose mode to HTML mode. No need to bother about that HTML tab now anyway.

After completing the body of your post you can click ‘save’ button on the right side of the page. Although blogger will automatically save the data each and every time you type, it is recommended that to save manually by clicking ‘save’ button at some intervals. Because if the net connection is lost or power went off etc in such situations what all you entered will be lost if not saved. So don’t wait to ‘save’ to complete all the matter you going to enter. If saved the post will go to the ‘draft’s ‘section. Now you can check what all you entered in the webpage format by clicking ‘preview’ button next to the ‘save’ tab. Click that and if all things are ok close it and click the ‘publish’ button to publish the post. If not ok again edit and change the necessary correction and preview if needed and publish the post.

If  your post is published just you can see the post title in the dashboard. And can see the total post’s and the published post’s number below the ‘posts’ tab on the left side. And if you just saved the post and not yet clicked ‘publish’ button you can see ‘draft’ in red letter next to the post title in the dash board. If you like to publish that post just select the post in draft by checking the check box on the left side of the blog title and just click ‘publish’ button on the top. And by the same way you can place the post into draft if once published by selecting the post and click ‘revert to drafts’ button.
